Clinical utility
Detects the HLA-DQB1*0602 and HLA-DQA1*0102 haplotype that is found in 85-95% of patients with narcolepsy.


Collection Instruction
Heparinized whole blood is not acceptable. Do not freeze.
Refrigerated whole blood acceptable but not preferred. Ship
immediately by overnight courier to arrive at Specialty
within one week of collection. Specimens will be stabilized
upon departmental receipt.
