Clinical utility

Detects the presence of Parvovirus B19 DNA down to 80 copies/mL, to aid in the diagnosis of Parvovirus infection. The assay will detect viral DNA prior to the production of IgG and IgM antibodies and is diagnostic.

Collection Instruction

Do not refrigerate or freeze whole blood or bone marrow.
Ship urine, CSF or body fluids on cold pack or dry ice.
